Following the ordinance of the Italian Ministry of Health of 21/9/2020, there is an obligation to have a swab test also for passengers entering in Italy/ returning in Italy from the French regions of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Corsica, Hauts-de-France, Ile- de-France, New Aquitaine, Occitania, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
By way of example, the main airports in these areas are Ajaccio, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris, Toulouse.
Swab test are done at the airport according to flight scheduling, it is not necessary to book it.
As per previous ordinances, the obligation to have a swab test for passengers returning from Spain, Greece, Malta, Croatia remains in force; it is optional for passengers returning from Sardinia, as per Veneto regional ordinance.
For departing passengers there is currently no possibility to swab at the airport; we recommend passengers to visit website http://www.viaggiaresicuri.it/ to find out information about the regulations in force in their country of destination.
Given the evolution of the scenario, we then recommend consulting the sites of the airport and local health facilities (ULSS) and contacting your airline for flight information.
Finally, we remind you that for passengers returning from the so-called "areas at risk" it is also possible to swab in one's ULSS health facilities or present a negative swab result carried out in the previous 72 h.
