SAVE's Occupational Health and Safety Management System has been certified according to the international standard ISO45001:2018, which is currently the most-advanced standard recognized globally for business aspects related to occupational-safety management. This standard is entirely voluntary and, for the Company, provides for greater performance and commitment than the requirements of Italian Legislative Decree No. 231/2001.81/2008 (Consolidated Text on Safety at Work). The management system has been certified by the external accredited auditor, RINA Services S.p.A.
This prestigious award confirms the commitment of SAVE, the Venice Airport Management Company, to pursue a pro-active policy of accident-prevention, and promotion of employee well-being, with a view to continuous improvement, to the benefit of the entire airport community and passengers passing through the airport.
Achieving certification is not an arrival-point. Rather, it is a starting-point, and a new stimulus for the whole Company to increasingly improve in the area of safety and prevention, with positive effects on the work of all, and on the services that SAVE provides to passengers.
