Passengers with hidden disabilities, or those accompanying passengers with hidden disabilities, may request a “sunflower lanyard” to be worn inside Venezia Airport.
This lanyard is used to discreetly help people who request it. The sunflower lanyard allows our staff to recognize someone with special needs, provide them assistance, or be ready to give a little more time to passengers wearing it and to their companions.
Wearing the sunflower strap is a voluntary choice to enjoy a better airport experience.
The Sunflower Lanyard is available both for passengers who have requested PRM assistance and for those who are traveling independently and would like to receive some extra attention from our staff.
You can get the Sunflower Lanyard:
- in the Special Assistance Room (first floor, landside)
- at the Arrivals Information Office (ground floor, arrivals area)
- from the person assigned to PRM assistance
