Experimentation of covid-tested flights begins on the 1st of July for flights connecting Venice to Dubai in collaboration with Emirates.
Departure from the United Arab Emirates - Emirates EK135 flights from Dubai DXB to Venice
Before boarding, passengers on Covid Tested flights must complete the Digital Passenger Locator Form (dPLF), available at this link
After submitting the form, the passenger will receive by e-mail the dPLF in pdf format and the QRcode that must be presented to the airline upon boarding.
Passengers departing from the United Arab Emirates must have the negative results of a molecular test (RT PCR) or rapid antigen (RADT) on boarding.
We invite passengers to check the airline's website for updated information https://www.emirates.com/it/english/help/covid-19/?
Upon their arrival in Venice, passengers will have to carry out a quick antigenic swab.
To make disembarkation operations smooth and fast, all passengers arriving in Venice with covid-tested flights must pre-register the swab online at the link communicated by Emirates before boarding.
Children from 0 to 6 years are not obliged to have swab test.
The cost of the swab at Venezia Airport is € 20 (only for covid-tested flights) thanks to an agreement with the Centro di Medicina and Villa Salus Hospital.
The swab test will be paid directly at the airport with credit cards and debit cards.
As an alternative to the swab test on arrival, it is possible to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate with an EMA-approved vaccine.
